Who we are

Mission Statement

The My Life Foundation aims to relieve substance abuse and reduce the related stigma in the Asian community by facilitating the recovery process of addiction through providing: education, prevention, intervention, and treatment.

Vision Statement

My Life Foundation provides holistic, multi-cultural, and competent treatment in order to address an individual’s substance use addiction. We recognize that addiction is a disease, chronic and progressive, which deeply impacts not only the individual but the entire family. Our community based organization guides each individual along with their family through the healing process to help them bring new life to its full potential. To achieve this goal, we address the need and facilitate the treatment process of addiction for the Asian community.

History

My Life Foundation is a charitable 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization. Our organization was formed in 2017 to address the growing substance abuse problems in the Asian American and Pacific Islander populations.

Despite the myth of the “model minority”, many Asian youth and young adults are at high risk of involvement in alcohol and drug abuse and related problems. My Life Foundation works on promoting awareness for alcohol and substance abuse issues as well as related mental well-being and health.
